Relay

Terms of use

Last updated 30 September 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses Relay, on the website or in the Android app, with an account or as a guest. By creating an account or continuing as a guest you agree to them.

Who can use Relay

You must be at least 13 years old, or older where the law where you live requires it. If you use Relay for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to.

Your account

Keep your password, PIN and devices secure, and do not share your account. You are responsible for what is sent from it. Tell us at support@relaaay.online if you think someone else has used it.

What is not allowed

Relay has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Do not use Relay to send, share or ask for:

Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the service, or access accounts or conversations that are not yours.

Reporting and blocking

You can report a person from their profile, or a message from its menu, and block anyone so neither of you can message the other. Reports go to the people who run Relay; the person you report is not told who reported them.

What we do about it

We review reports and act on content and accounts that break these terms. We may remove content, and warn, suspend or permanently close accounts. A suspended person can ask for the decision to be looked at again from the sign-in screen. We report child sexual abuse material and credible threats to life to the relevant authorities.

Your content

What you send stays yours. You give us permission to store it and deliver it to the people you send it to, which is all we use it for. You can delete your messages, and your whole account, at any time.

The service

Relay is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and secure, but cannot promise it will never be interrupted or lose data, so keep copies of anything important (Settings, Data & privacy, Export my data). We may change or stop features, and will update these terms when the rules change.
